“Musicianship for Jazz Singers” Series

This series of workshops is for aspiring and working jazz singers who’d like to improve their chops, expand improvisation vocabulary, write arrangements, and develop their craft.

Prerequisite: basic music theory (working knowledge of scales and chords)

$250 per session, $75 non-refundable deposit required upon enrollment.

All sessions are Wednesdays 10am – 1pm.

Fall Session (September – November) - Main Focus: Improvisation
Sept. 10, 24; Oct. 8, 22; Nov. 5, 19
Winter Session (January – March) - Main Focus: Charts/Arrangements
Jan 7, 21; Feb. 4, 18; March 4, 18
Spring Session (April – June) - Main Focus: Beginning Jazz Piano for Singers
Apr. 8, 22; May 6, 20; June 3, 17
Summer Session (July – August) - Main Focus: Performances – dress rehearsal and final performance
Jul. 8, 22; Aug. 5, 19
